Description
Kane Residential, a pioneer in multifamily management, sought out-of-the-box marketing measures to transform their communities into experiential and compelling destinations. With thoughtful nod to each property’s vintage charm, and some modern flair, I set out to create brands that embodied each community’s differentiators.

Historic Boylan Apartments
Three main buildings, each three stories, were built in 1935. Vintage features such as original oak floors, porcelain bathtubs, and paneled wood doors are complimented by modern appliances and amenities. Fonts in the Art Deco style, popular in the United States when the Boylan Apartments first opened, and a palette with a patina to match the property lend authenticity to the brand and create a fun and nostalgic ambiance.
The Mordecai on Clover
Undergoing a revival, this older urban neighborhood is undergoing restoration, and the future of Mordecai looks bright. The Mordecai townhome apartments are no exception. This rebrand balances a vintage feel with a youthful spirit. A bright palette and a bold chevron shape stand out in the Raleigh landscape and create opportunities for outside-the-box wayfinding and signage reinforcing the brand.
